Atlas Steak and Smokehouse isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Our goal is to provide memorable food in a unique, comfortable atmosphere unlike any other restaurant in Southeastern Iowa. The establishment has been renovated from the ground up, and now boasts new dark wood décor for a cozy, sophisticated vibe. There are 11 six-foot wide, high-resolution photos placed throughout the restaurant of beautiful landscapes taken by professional photographer, Alexander Vershinin. The landscapes are taken in various locations around the globe – ask your server for the location of your favorite one! Aside from the astounding atmosphere inside, Atlas sits near the bank of the beautiful Mississippi River, making the outside view just as beautiful.
Atlas owners traveled to Provo, UT, to hand select Japanese Wagyu cattle to raise as the restaurant’s beef source. Wagyu cattle produce arguably the finest beef in the world. The cattle’s genetic predisposition yields a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, higher quality marbling, flavor, and tenderness than other varieties, including prime! Plus, our beef is naturally raised just six miles from your table, making the Atlas menu truly “farm to fork.” We also offer seafood, sandwiches, unique side dishes, and our own house-smoked bacon!
